POSTED 09 AUG 2009

My client, a successful and fast growing Junior Resource firm is currently seeking a dynamic Company Administrator to work in their Downtown Vancouver office. This position reports to the President, the Executive Vice President of Investor Relations & Business Development, and the Executive Vice President of Finance and Administration and will be an integral part of the company’s internal communication and organizational development moving forward. This position will involve Office Management including personnel duties such as, employee reviews, employee coaching, discipline and terminations. The Company Administrator’s role will be to effectively communicate with all of the internal departments of the firm (Legal, Accounting, IT, Investor Relations etc…) and work with those departments to ensure that all employees remain on task and that projects are delivered within appropriate timelines.

This position requires the Company Administrator to be a builder, and to have a personality that is respectful, yet demands respect. Essentially the Company Administrator will be mandated by the Executive Team to liaise with the various departments and their Managers to oversee and ensure that the Company employees are completing their responsibilities while reporting on progress and delays to the Executive team. The Company Administrator will be required to motivate the office staff and follow through with communicating problem areas and terminations as necessary, to the Executive team. The Company Administrator will be responsible for prioritizing and keeping projects on task and must be able to work independently in addition to exhibiting strong organizational skills, fluency on the computer and technical abilities. The Company Administrator must be capable of Flow Chart Development software such as “Mindjet” to be able to produce effective tracking techniques to follow staff progress.

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented with the ability to multi task and communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals, and personality types. My client is seeking a charismatic team player, who is professional, high profile, deadline oriented, and self motivated, with a strong work ethic. My client requires someone with a “thick skin” who is not easily flustered, with a diplomatic attitude, and a strong but not overbearing personality. This is a great opportunity to join a company for the long term, where financial goals and company growth is highly attainable. The salary range for this position depends on experience, and will range from $50,000 - $70,000 + stock options, benefits and opportunity for career advancement.
