Branch Manager

My client, a leading Vancouver Staffing and Recruitment firm is seeking a Branch Manager for their Vancouver offices. This is a highly entrepreneurial role and requires excellent Sales and Customer service skills along with Operational and Management experience. The Branch Manager will be required to oversee and train existing staff and most importantly to lead by example with integrity, professionalism, and passion for a job well done. My client is looking for the ideal candidate who is vibrant and fresh, “no in the box” or “old school” thinking allowed! This candidate must be willing to “roll up their sleeves” to do whatever it takes to ensure a thriving, bustling business.

Primary responsibilities of the position include implementing a business plan to achieve predetermined sales projections, yearly budget preparation and profit and loss accountability, monitoring and managing corporate service standards, ultimately to achieving branch profitability and to provide a superior level of service to clients as well as internal/external staff. The Branch Manager is required to provide overall direction to branch staff to effectively manage the clients and the temporary personnel.

Must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and a proven track record of reaching sales targets, preferably in the service industry, with a demonstrated knowledge of the sales cycle including follow through to the end result, a satisfied customer. Resiliency, flexibility, attention to detail, diplomacy, and problem solving skills, with a “think on your feet” mentality are definite assets. A University Degree or Post Secondary diploma is preferred. The salary for this role is $70,000 + benefits and ample opportunity for career advancement.
