My client, a world- class Machine shop in New Westminster is currently seeking a Business Development Manager to work with the President. In just over 11 years my client has grown his machine shop and galvanizing plant to become a state of the art facility, expanding into a broad range of manufacturing industries and application areas. This key opportunity has been created to serve as an essential 'right hand' to the Owner, and carries full responsibility for all new business development. Aside from accomplishments in building new business, the ideal candidate will be an intermediate level Account Manager with several years manufacturing industry experience gained in Western Canada.

Specific skills will include internet research and lead generation, cold-calling by phone and in person, and closing sales to achieve quota while building strong service-driven relationships at all levels within prospective clients' businesses.

You have mastered the art of accurate sales forecasting, and are adept in the use of CRM, estimating and creating effective internal bid management processes. Oh, and you're a whiz with Excel spreadsheets too!
